Locked - Ch. 6My mind has just literally turned to jam right about now. I’m so confused, but at the same time things are starting to make sense. Old questions starting to get answered, but new ones appearing. Who wrote the journals? Why, how? Year and time? How long ago was the journal recorded? What year was it now? I wanted to curl up in a ball and cry. I tried to calm myself, I didn’t want to bring my headache back. The splitting pain would put me over the edge. I took a breath in and let it out.
“Maple, what the heck does this all mean?”  I ask again as I climb back up on the chair. I examine the gap a little bit better, making a point to notice every little detail. “Maple, the hole that the paper was rolled up in is hollow, but I can feel wires inside of it.
