Bio:
Moonkit was born in the forest, deep at the edge of the territory. The only one who witnessed her birth was Barkclaw, a sour old medicine cat. She refused to tell anyone who the parents of the three little kits were, though many suspected that they were half-clan or part kittypet. The mystery of who her mother was remains in the shadows, although many of her clanmembers noticed the peculiar attachment that Blackreed had to the little kits. Their foster mother was Cloudcream, a large orange and tortie she-cat with a calm motherly temper. Before Moonkit even became and apprentice, Blackreed died and her chances of finding out who her family was died with it. Moonkit soon became Moonpaw, her mentor becoming Barkclaw, the medicine cat. Sorely disappointed, Moonpaw trained in the art of healing for 5 moons, until her friend Silverpaw (later named Moonfur) showed an interest in herbs. She stepped down to become a Warrior. Her mentor then became Whisperwind,(the deputy at the time) a small white she-cat with a blind right eye. She was the best warrior in the clan no doubt, and she taught willing Moonpaw everything. During her training, she fell head over tail for Runningpaw, a deep gray tabby tom with blue eyes. Her sister, Fernpaw, also fancied him as well. The two constantly bickered about it, causing a deep rift in their relationship. Jaypaw took Moonpaw's side, and Rushpaw took Fernpaw's side. For moons after, the siblings stayed in their pairs, keeping away from the other. (further details excluded) Fernpaw became so desperate to prove her sister wrong, that she took it too far. Fernpaw and Rushpaw were caught by Moonpaw and Jaypay, and they had no choice but to turn them in. They were punished severely and kept in camp. One afternoon, MoonClan had a small battle with LupinClan over territory, earning Moonpaw, Runningpaw and Jaypaw their warrior names, Moonfeather, Runningstorm and Jayrunner. Fernpaw and Rushpaw were immensely jealous of their siblings. After many more moons, Runningstorm eventually fell for Moonstar and the two of them proclaimed themselves mates. Fernfang's hatred, secretly fed by the Dark Forest cats, caused her to attempt murder and then flee with her brother, Rushfeather. Gravely upset, Moonfeather refused to eat, sleep or do anything at the sudden loss of her mate. (more details excluded) With the help of her clanmates, she was able to look past it and start anew. She became one of the greatest warriors in the clan, her fury fed by her past. She swore to herself that she would never fall in love again. She was given an apprentice, Wildpaw, and eager black and white tom with a natural curiosity. Moonfeather was finally happy. Unfortunately, her sorrows were not at an end. Wildpaw was hit and killed by a two-leg monster, a moon before he was to become a warrior. Soon after, her mentor and Cloudcream were killed in a rouge raid. Moonfeather again went into a deep sadness, refusing to even speak to anyone. Again, she was able to pull herself out of the depression. MoonClan's leader, Whitestar, proclaimed that Moonfeather was to become the new deputy. Moonfeather accepted and became a great leader for her clan, but she still had an invisible cold wall towards others. Eventually, Whitestar died of old age, allowing Moonfeather to step up as Moonstar. She appointed her remaining brother deputy, but he refused. Hollowsoul became deputy instead. Moons after, she traveled to the city to find her lost siblings, feeling ready to face what she feared most. She was unsuccessful, but she met a loner, Moss, who gave her a message.
There will be seven, possibly more, the future is fuzzy. To find the flower, they will make a journey across the beyond and find those who belong but are not us. They will help. One will perish in the place of unending cold, one will perish to the place of no stars. Two will fall to the paws of their friends, and one will fall to the paws of their enemy. The last will live to be the leader.
Since then, Moonstar has opened up, especially after the birth of Robinkit.
Moonstar is a wise she-cat who always has a good retort back. She is a bit cold and distanced, but would give her very last life for her clanmates. Her past has made her solid, brave, and compassionate. She always thinks everything through, never wishing to shed unnecessary blood. By far, Moonstar is one of the best leaders of MoonClan.
